What We Can Do For You
During our meeting you will:
Learn about the benefits of college visits and when you should start to visit your top schools. We will review what factors you should consider in your college search, as well as what you should pay attention to during your tour. Campus tour guides will be one of your first communications on a college campus, and they will be happy to answer all your questions, so we will make sure you arrive prepared for each visit.
Receive education on financial aid and how to pay for your student’s education. We will discuss a variety of ways to support your student’s education financially, including the differences between federal and private loans. Another way to receive financial support is through grants and scholarships, which we can help you find.
Discuss how to write an essay that will impress admissions counselors. Your essay is the key to getting into the best schools. Your student will work with experienced teachers with a Master’s degree through the process of writing the best college essay. They will guide your student through multiple steps, including brainstorming, choosing the most right prompt, drafting, writing, and editing. The essay will inject your soul, feed curiosity, and make an impact – what college admissions are looking for.
Go over the application timeline and important dates to remember. Don’t miss the opportunity to plan accordingly and efficiently. It’s very important to start your research in your junior year and be ready by August 1st, when colleges open their enrollment. But don’t forget about all the small deadlines in between. We will guide you month by month, starting from ACT/SATs in junior year until May 1st – National College Acceptance Day.
Talk about the activities to include on your application and resume. The best way to express your interest and personality is through the extracurriculars section: activities, volunteering, jobs, and sports. A resume is like your business card, a quick guide to a student’s skills, honors, achievements, and experience. Our dedicated advisor will direct students on how to improve their resumes and impress college admissions counselors and future employers.
Make a list of your wants and needs from a school. There are many factors to consider in choosing the right school. It’s where your student will spend the next four years of their life, learning and making memories. Make sure you and your family consider every factor, from location to class sizes. We will help cultivate the list, and you will be able to get the answers during your college visits.
